Gone are the bunkers, vaults and ticket only entrance of the previous arts complex. Here the Digital Underground Media Project (DUMP) promoted by the Digital Arts Council to foster access and community participation in the arts, resulted in this stratified centre. The sedimented genres of the past and present are now exposed in this layered tectonic structure.

Visitor numbers to this highly aesthetic experience have failed to match government expectations and corporate finance is being sought to change the building's use. Suggested facilities that may soon be incorporated include commuter sleep over centre, temporary shelter for the homeless and a skateboard park.
